Experimental shot. These are made of sugar and are miniatures. It looks huge because of the close focus. No editing. Canon Powershot A95. I might have used macro. Maybe I should have chosen a better background. Something more plain.

Used the macro to full effect. Had to use flash. Its the pistil part of the flower entering through the petals. The pattern looks so beautiful. Canon Powershot A95. Adjusted the color settings using Irfanview.

A yellow hibiscus variety. Used macro again but I do not know if the blurring effect of the background is adequate. Canon Powershot A95. No editing.

Hibiscus is certainly a photogenic flower. The pistil part of it looks exceptionally gorgeous. Macro effect. Used the Canon Powershot A95. No editing. Natural lighting.

Another shot which I liked a lot. An ant colony. The reddish tinge observed is because of the use of flash. Naturally, it looked like a normal brownish twig. Macro. Canon Powershot A95. No editing. Its come out very well.

Another experimental shot with flash. I liked the way the internal part of the dragon-fly lit up and became clearly visible. This wasn't the case when observed with the naked eye. The background is pretty messy. Flash, although can take off the natural effect, can provide its own magic in such instances. Canon Powershot A95. Macro. No editing.

This was just an experimental shot. I won't say it looks professional. I couldn't capture the pistil due to lack of sunlight. Had to use the flash which lit up the whole part. It glows like a bulb. And the blackness in the background complemented the effect. Canon Powershot A95 with macro. No editing.
